Michael Saad, CHCIO
I have been in Information Technology management for over 14 years and have served in several leadership roles at organizations ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small business startups. I am currently a Chief Information Officer at an academic medical center located in Tennessee.
Throughout my career as a CIO and IT leader, I have seen technology advance dramatically and become a key strategic enabler for businesses. I believe that any good CIO must be able to bridge the gap between technology and the needs of the organization. In healthcare, where I have worked for nearly ten years, this is even more critical as the industry continues to make significant shifts towards a more cost-effective delivery and management model. In most cases, technology is leading the way for this exciting transformation.
I have a passion for learning and am always looking for ways to improve, both personally and professionally. I decided to start this blog as a way to share some of what I learned with others.
My hope is that others can use this site to draw upon the lessons that I have learned. Learning is a lifelong journey that we are all on together.
